What Colors Are The Chakras?

In traditional Eastern medicine and spirituality, the chakras are believed to be energy centers within the body that correspond to different physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of an individual. Each chakra is associated with a particular color, which is believed to correspond to the specific energy of that chakra.

Here are the colors associated with each chakra, starting from the base of the spine and moving up to the crown of the head:

  1. Root chakra (red): The root chakra is associated with the color red and is believed to be connected to issues of survival, safety, and security.

  2. Sacral chakra (orange): The sacral chakra is associated with the color orange and is believed to be connected to issues of creativity, sexuality, and emotional well-being.

  3. Solar plexus chakra (yellow): The solar plexus chakra is associated with the color yellow and is believed to be connected to issues of personal power, self-esteem, and self-worth.

  4. Heart chakra (green): The heart chakra is associated with the color green and is believed to be connected to issues of love, compassion, and relationships.

  5. Throat chakra (blue): The throat chakra is associated with the color blue and is believed to be connected to issues of communication, self-expression, and creativity.

  6. Third eye chakra (indigo): The third eye chakra is associated with the color indigo and is believed to be connected to issues of intuition, insight, and spiritual awareness.
